The recent spate of bad weather caused the National Grid to issue a “gas balancing alert” asking power firms and large industries to cut back on their consumption. Both electrical underfloor heating and water underfloor heating are much more efficient at heating a home than conventional radiators because the heat comes from ground level and rises up, heating all the space quickly with a balanced combination of radiant and confected heat.
