Making pancakes

Last weekend I attempted to make pancakes for a friend. Myself, not being the best cook needed some decent, but simple instructions to get me on my way. The instructions I used are below; they make the prefect pancakes!

For the pancake mixture:
110g/4oz plain flour
A tiny pinch of salt
2 eggs
200ml/7fl oz milk
75ml/3fl oz water
50g/2oz butter

Topping choices:
caster sugar
lemon juice
lemon wedges
any other ingredients who fancy!

Steps

-Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
-Crack the eggs into the mixture and begin whisking!
-Gradually add small quantities of the milk and water mixture, still whisking.
-Whisk until the batter has the consistency of thin cream.
-Spoon 2 tbsp of butter into the mixture and whisk. Use the rest of the butter to grease the frying pan before you make each pancake.
-Get the pan really hot, then turn the heat down to medium.
-Ladle 2 tbsp of the batter into the hot pan all in one g and then move it to get the base evenly coated with batter.
-After about30 seconds, or when the bottom turns golden, flip the pancake over. -The other side will only need a few seconds to cook.
-Place you pancake onto a plate…To serve, sprinkle each pancake with toppings of your choice!
-Enjoy!
